Dating to circa 1820, an adorable little antique brooch in the form of a flower, a glassed locket centre with a frame of miniature hand faceted Pastes set over Silver foil as the glittery petals. Such pieces are often sentimental, being gifted by loved ones and this would explain her preservation down the many generations since that time. Hand crafted in Silver and over a Gold plated back, the whole measures 18mm across by 14mm, and closes with a simple pin and 'C' clasp.
